Aloha,
Many of you owners are on property at this time for the Holidays. Mark your calendar for December 19 as The PBAC is having a members only Club party. Hey, it's a party and it is at The PBAC so of course it will be a lot of fun! Make sure you check it out!
A big tree went over on Thanksgiving evening. Thank all of the owners that sent pictures and comments. 4 cars were damaged but luckily nobody was injured. The tree went over between buildings 34 and 35.
Please read the Aloha Gram below going out to all guests regarding a Tsunami watch for Hawaii. This is currently just a watch. Here is a good site to monitor to get the latest info:
Tropical Storm Kilo is expected to
become a hurricane sometime in the next several days. Current track has it
south of the islands with an upturn to the North and could impact the western
part of the state, primarily Kauai. At this point we are looking at Wednesday
of next week. We will keep you posted as we get more information.
I just received word that the koi ponds renovation and the new grassy area behind the ponds is complete. The ponds were stocked yesterday with koi. :) A big mahalo to everyone that worked so hard to get this project completed. The photos look great! I can't wait to see it in person.
Guillermo grew to hurricane strength on Thursday and is heading toward Hawaii. We all hope it dies down. You can read the article below to get more information.
The PBRA has changed their format for the PBRA newsletter. They now have it posted blog style. I encourage everyone to subscribe to the PBRA blog so that you can see what is going on in Sunny Poipu. :)
I am sorry that I missed some of the activities in July though the upcoming September events look like fun. Has anyone done the Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run? Love to hear about it if you have.
