Fundraising links for Kauai Flood Victims
Aloha Owners,
I know many of you have asked how you can help Kauai Flood victims. Below are two links that have ways in which to help as well as a Kauai Food Tour update on the Kauai Flood.
Many are aware of the devastation up North but some people, myself included, were not aware that it hit parts of Koloa pretty hard. This link is to specifically help that area:

This a new program's list of places to donate to help.

Kauai Charity Walk
Aloha Kiahuna Homeowners!
It is that time again! Time for the Annual Kauai Charity Walk this
May!
Our goal this year is to raise over $5000. We have surpassed that in other years, so
let’s try hard to meet our goal!
Several homeowners are donating items to the
silent auction. Judy Stupfel is donating
one of her beautiful Hawaiian handmade quilts; Randy Nordstrom is donating a gorgeous
Hawaiian quilted bag. Roger Mullenhour and Alan Hart are donating
some fine photography pieces.
Let’s not forget the Charity Walk Chili
Cook-Off fundraiser. The Chili Cook-Off
is a great way to donate money to a good cause and get some great food. J
You have many choices of ways to donate to this
wonderful fundraiser! You can bid on the
auction items and bid high or you can just donate right to the fundraiser.
Also, the Kauai Charity Walk has made it easy to donate online
at: http://igfn.us/vf/KauaiCW/team/1_Outrigger%20Kiahuna%20Plant
Of course, some of you would prefer to just
donate by using a check or cash. If you
wish to write a check please make it out to:
Kauai Charity Walk. You mail it
directly to Marianne Thesken or drop it off at her office at the Kiahuna
Plantation.

All monies raised will stay on the island to
help the local people out! It is sharing
our Kiahuna Homeowners’ Aloha to our Island Ohana!

Castle and RAB Newsletter March and New Schedule of Fees
WOW!
Thank all of you that emailed or called regarding the new Castle Rental
Program. The response has been so
positive.
The RAB and
Castle worked very hard on this program.
With any new programs things slip by.
Yes, even Castle makes mistakes.
J
One of these
things that slipped by was the mid-stay cleaning going up $10 in the one
bedroom units. This was not discussed
with the RAB originally. The other item
that was not discussed was the maintenance fee having a ½ hour minimum
charge. Castle asked the RAB how they
could make this right. It was decided
that the mid-stay fee for the 1 bedroom would go up to $80 in exchange for the
minimum maintenance charge going down to ¼ hour. Castle and the RAB are both happy with
this.
The attached
new Schedule of Fees reflects these changes.
I also have put the Schedule of Fees under “Pages” on the blog as
well.
Thank you
again. We look forward to seeing many
of you in May.
Aloha,
Denise

Kiahuna unit 80 tub refinished!
Aloha,
I know quite a few owners have contacted me regarding the tub refinishing. I am VERY happy with the look of my "new" tub. Here are some pictures of my tub during the process as well as the after photos.
If anyone is interested in tub refinishing please let me know or you can contact Mark Bandsma. He coordinated everything for me and it made it very easy. :) Mark's email address is: mbandsma@castleresorts. com
Look forward to seeing many of you in May.
